This is the concert version of a new musical called Lapopessa, with a Broadway-style score. Lapopessa reimagines the extraordinary love story between a nun (Pascalina) and a priest (Pacelli). Pascalina works tirelessly, despite interference from the male hierarchy of the Vatican, to promote Pacelli's rise to the Papacy. Together, this power couple controls the Vatican. And, as players on the world political stage, they change world history.
